About the Team

Engineering That Turns Designs into Built Reality

Our Construction Services team supports some of Australia’s largest and most complex projects by solving the engineering challenges that make construction possible. You will design temporary works and assess construction methodologies that directly influence how projects are delivered on site. A strong pipeline of secured projects provides stability, momentum and ongoing opportunities to work on major, high‑impact projects.

About the Role

Our Sydney office is currently seeking to appoint an Associate – Construction Services with significant temporary works engineering design experience, solid communication skills and the desire to lead and mentor developing engineers within the group. This is a pivotal role supporting the Sydney CS Team to manage projects, delegate workload, and interface with key clients.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • CPEng qualified
  • Membership of Engineers Australia
  • Industry Accreditation (RIW)

Skills & Knowledge

  • 8+ years demonstrated experience in structural temporary works
  • Demonstrated design experience at a senior level (or ready for the next step up)
  • An innovative and out of the box attitude to solutions and designs
  • The ability to critically assess and review designs by others
  • Knowledge of construction methodologies and their impact on design
  • Experience in written communication including writing proposals
  • Desire to develop their own team and client base, with support from the CS Team
