Perth

Our Perth office is embedded in Western Australia’s infrastructure and resources landscape, supporting projects across metropolitan Perth and regional WA. The team works closely with long-standing clients in transport, resources, ports and the built environment, delivering practical solutions suited to remote locations, complex logistics and demanding delivery programs. You will be part of a collaborative team working on projects that matter in one of Australia’s most dynamic markets.

 

About the role:

We are seeking an ambitious and dynamic Associate Director - Civil to build, grow and lead our Civil Engineering division in Perth. This key leadership role will be responsible for driving the growth of the team, expanding our business through strategic development, and providing technical guidance and direction to the team.

Responsibilities:

Some of your key accountabilities in this role will include the following:

  • Spearheading business development efforts to grow the Civil Engineering division in Perth. Leveraging existing client relationships, you will expand our clientele across Western Australia, drawing on support from our regional offices and Australia-wide network.
  • Be responsible for growing, leading, mentoring and inspiring the Civil Engineering team in Perth by fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture, empowering team members to reach their full potential and driving professional growth within the team.
  • Provide expert technical leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and innovative engineering solutions whilst staying abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs and delivering exceptional service to exceed their expectations consistently, will be highly regarded.
  • An ability to contribute to the strategic direction of the company by identifying growth opportunities and new markets within the Civil Engineering sector will also be highly regarded. You will also see yourself collaborating with senior management to align the division's goals with the overall business strategy.

We are looking for someone with…

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven track record in business development, with experience in growing engineering divisions or practices.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Extensive experience in delivering civil engineering projects across a variety of sectors.
  • Strong technical expertise and up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships effectively.
