About the Team

Our Structures Team focuses on the design of structures that deliver our clients' requirements and make a positive difference to the community. The team delivers value engineering solutions by creating structures with performance efficiencies and draws on market and industry connections to make things happen.

We provide a range of structural engineering services across Australia in multiple sectors, focusing on the development of safe, considered and innovative solutions to the most challenging problems encountered in the construction of projects. Our team pride themselves on working seamlessly with all project stakeholders, ensuring no solution is developed in isolation and without consideration of the potential implications on other areas of the project.

 

About the Role

Our Perth office is currently seeking to appoint an Associate Engineer/Associate Director - Structural with significant engineering design experience, strong communication skills and the desire to lead and mentor developing engineers within the group. This is a pivotal role supporting the Perth Structural team to manage projects, delegate workload, and interface with key clients.

 Qualifications

  • Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • Chartered member (CPEng) of Institute of Engineers Australia

Skills & Knowledge

  • 10+ years demonstrated experience in structural engineering
  • Demonstrated design experience at a senior level (or ready for the next step up)
  • An innovative and out of the box attitude to solutions and designs
  • The ability to critically assess and review designs by others
  • Experience in written communication including writing proposals
  • Desire to develop their own team and client base, with support from the Structural Team
