About ADG Asset Advisory Services (AAS)

ADG Asset Advisory Services leads the field in condition assessments and asset investigations, monitoring, data collection, and analysis. Through our market-leading capability, our team of established consultants provide technology led services to solve the most complex problems across a range of sectors in the infrastructure, construction, and structural sectors. By leveraging our cutting-edge technology, alongside a deep comprehension of modern engineering principles, we optimise field data and observations, fostering innovative outcomes and solutions.

About the Role

 ADG is currently seeking an Engineer to join our Asset Advisory Team located at our Brisbane practice. Reporting to the Director – Asset Advisory, the purpose of the role is to ensure investigations, reports and designs are innovative, prepared to a high standard and are in accordance with ADG Asset Advisory’s standards to meet client requirements, maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.

You will also be responsible for undertaking varied engineering tasks and site investigations as part of the Asset Advisory team, through specifying testing requirements, interpreting test results, analysing structures, and determining innovative remedial solutions.

This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic and driven individual to step into a role which offers great potential for growth and development working on a diverse selection of secured major projects to accelerate ADG’s growth and expansion in the market.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • Eligible for membership of Engineers Australia or equivalent
  • Desire to attain RPEQ / CPEng status

Skills & Knowledge

    • Typically, 3-7 years of structural design experience with exposure to forensic or remedial services.
    • Developing competency in the forensic process, liaising with asset owners, and providing technically sound advice.
    • Proficient written and verbal communication skills
    • Thorough understanding of civil and structural engineering principals
    • Thorough knowledge of relevant Australian Standards
    • Sound analytical, diagnostic, and remedial assessment skills
    • Experience in dealing with clients, and liaising with project managers and architects effectively
