About the Role:

As a People and Culture Administrator at ADG Engineers, your role is vital in supporting our P&C team. We are seeking a motivated HR graduate with 0-2 years of experience to join our team in Brisbane with the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement. You'll assist with various HR and payroll functions, making a significant contribution to employee management and development.

Key Responsibilities:

Your role will involve direct collaboration with the P&C Senior Business Partner, Group Finance Manager, GM People & Culture, and all staff. Your key accountabilities will include:

P&C Administration:

  • Administering HR information systems and maintaining accurate employee data.
  • Assisting in onboarding processes for new hires and ensuring compliance.
  • Collaborating on job openings and interviews.
  • Maintaining employee records, tracking performance reviews, and assisting with HR lifecycle tasks. 

Payroll:

  • Assisting in processing payroll runs, ensuring accurate data entry.
  • Supporting the calculation of termination pay-out figures and payroll-related taxes.
  • Maintaining leave records and ensuring accurate payroll records.
  • Providing clear and timely communication to employees regarding payroll issues.

Personal Development:

  • In conjunction with your manager, you will set development goals and attend industry events/training to stay updated on HR and business improvement trends.

Position Requirements:

  • Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: 0-2 years of experience, and a desire to learn and grow.
  • Skills & Knowledge: Good communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis. Good attention to detail.
  • Personal Attributes: Exhibits strong self-assurance, able to make decisions independently and assertively and comfortable taking initiative and leading projects. Calm and focused under pressure, handling stressful situations with ease.
