Build your future with ADG

ADG is a leading engineering consultancy delivering complex work across civil and infrastructure, structures and construction services. You will join collaborative teams that take on projects shaping transport, defence, power and renewables, water and the built environment across Australia.

As part of AtkinsRéalis, ADG combines local delivery strength with global expertise, proven methodologies and advanced digital capability. That means better support, stronger technical pathways and more varied opportunities, without losing the close‑knit feel that makes ADG a great place to do your best work.

Solve Complex Structural Challenges on Australia’s Largest Projects

Our Structures team works on some of Australia’s largest and most dynamic projects, where innovative design decisions directly shape how things are built. You will influence outcomes from early concept through to delivery, working closely with architects, builders and clients. Known for innovation and supported by AtkinsRéalis’ global systems, tools and specialist teams, you can stay focused on complex engineering, problem‑solving and delivery rather than administration. If you want technically challenging work, ownership of your designs and the satisfaction of seeing them built, this role delivers.

As a Structural Engineer with ADG, you will:

  • Perform structural engineering design tasks of basic scope and complexity under the direction and guidance of senior and associate engineers
  • Apply your knowledge of relevant standards, codes, and authority requirements to your design
  • Consider construction costings, practice, buildability, and programs as part of your design
  • Communicate respectfully, openly, and effectively with clients to understand their needs and expectations
  • Collaborate with and assist other disciplines within the organisation to create awareness and broaden your knowledge base
  • Contribute to the development of project plans and specifications to grow your technical capabilities
  • Conduct site inspections as instructed and in line with ADG’s QA processes

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • 3-5 years of industry experience
  • Drive, ambition, and genuine enthusiasm to develop and learn on the job
  • Ability to adhere to production schedules with a track record in meeting deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with peers
  • Design experience with concrete, steel, and timber framed structures
  • On-site inspection experience

What we offer you:

At ADG, we value your professional development and will offer you exposure across all facets of design and project delivery to expand your skillset. We are committed to attracting, retaining, and working together to develop our talent. We reward our staff and at every level, we work together to deliver the highest standards in engineering and services delivery alike.

As a Structural Engineer with ADG, you will enjoy:

  • A competitive salary package
  • A flexible work environment
  • An active social calendar
  • Birthday Leave after 12 months of service
  • Paid Parental Leave scheme
  • Five weeks annual leave after 5 years of service
  • Health & Wellness program

Apply now and seize this exciting opportunity!

Currently, this role doesn’t require agency input. We do not accept unsolicited resumes and are not responsible for any associated fees.
